Cytiva Biacore S200
This label-free system is used for molecular interaction analysis in basic research, drug discovery and development research. The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) instrument detects ligand binding to immobilized macromolecules. When a ligand binds to molecules immobilized on the sensor surface, the SPR sensorgram traces the association and dissociation of the complex, revealing the kinetics of the interaction and affinity values.

This 384-well instrument incorporates two distinct reading modes: AlphaScreen is a chemiluminescent proximity binding assay in which donor and acceptor beads are brought together in close proximity by binding partners attached to the beads. Corning Epic optical wavelength shift technology can also be used to detect the shift in the wavelength of refracted light due to binding events in biochemical assays or dynamic mass redistribution in cell-based assays.
